During my recent stay at VN Hotel in Monterrey, I felt embraced by warm hospitality, reminiscent of managing my tea estate back in Galle. The boutique hotel had everything one could wish for, including a delicious breakfast that truly set a high bar - freshly made eggs done in various styles matched perfectly with my morning cup of Sri Lankan tea! While my friend occasionally needed assistance with directions, the staff's limited but warm English came to the rescue, making us feel right at home amidst the hustle and bustle. The location was vibrant, close to attractions, although navigating the parking situation proved a little tricky. Despite that minor inconvenience, the room was a sanctuary - quiet with comforting decor that mirrored the tranquil beauty of my lush tea plantations.
